wake me up. I got about two
hours sleep. This morning Purchas
asked me how I felt. I told him
rotten, that I had only had about
two hours sleep. He took me up
and gave me three hops and
then asked me if I wanted to
take [deleted]the[deleted] it around alone. So out
he climbed and away I went. The
machine felt strange at first with
only one in it. It floated around
like a feather. My first landing
was not too good as I made a
wheel landing, and Purchas
cussed me out good. The next
time I came in there were some
machines in my way and I was
going to overshoot the field so I
gave her the gun and went
around again. My second landing
was a little better but still a
wheel landing. My third landing
was good only I overshot a
little.

Grub Clover had a close one
this morning. Lillis took off
square into Grub's machine
