Still stormy and rainy. Had an
inspection by the inspector general
in the rain this afternoon.

I am getting mighty anxious to
get out of here. They are ridding us
worse than if we were German
prisoners. I can easily see why some
officers only go over the top once.

I put in the whole fornoon flying
[deleted]today[deleted] and finished B1. It was very
rough about noon time, but I enjoyed
every minute of the time I was up.
I went up for a half hour and saw
a machine going down on a
forced landing. I spiraled down
and looked him over. It was
Boggie Roberts coming back on
his voyage. He was all right and he
waved his hand at me as I went
by. Boggie got in tonight after being
out on his cross country for five
