Had the Rhone motor this morning.
When coming back at 10:30 Pete
Winship and I stopped to watch a
Liberty loop, rounversment, and
wing slip. He did some beautiful
work. He was up about 800 m
and came down to 400 when he
started wingslipping and finally
came out into a nose dive. We
kept waiting for him to straighten
out but he never did. As a last
resort he turned on his motor to
try and lift his nose up. He
