get sore now. We were then lined up to get our
overalls etc, which everybody wears so far; but when
our C.O. got there they ran out so that we will not
get ours untill to-morrow.

The country up here sure is swell, the lake here is
about two or three miles long. Mt. Rainier in the
distance sure looks swell with the sun shining on
the snow which seems to be all over it. I will quit
now because I want to write to Rose.
