Dear Pa:

Just a line hoping to find
you well and business rushing.
Business sure is rushing
over here now we are working
Sunday and from daylight
to dark. We have a great
deal of work to do and it is
up to us to get it finished
in time to be of use to the
boys that are coming. By
the time I get back I will
be able to handle any kind
of a pick and shovel gang.
This place seems to agree
with me. I weighed myself
yesterday and I tipped the
scales at 163 pounds.
