cold here every since I came back.

Would rather have the hot weather
than this cold wind. Haven't did much
drilling this week so far. Don't think
we will go on our hike tomorrow on
account of the weather. Guess most of
them are glad of it. Did you receive
the pictures yet? Hope they are good
& if they are be sure and send me
one. If you have any to spare will
you send one to Margaret Walker at
Orcutt please. She has been asking for
a picture for some time. If not I will
send one later on. We had a fire
call Tues. morning at one o'clock and
sure hated to pile out in the cold but
it was a case of have to. Did Ida
rec'd my letter? I wrote about a week
ago. Tell her to hurry up an answer
it. Tell Fred hello for me and tell
him I will write him a line later.
