Kurtscheid, Germany
June 8, 1919.

Dear mother:

Am sending you some
photographs of some of the damage
that the Germans did to some
of the villages in France which I
thought might interest you. Rec'd
several letters from you last night
and one from Ida. Your latest one
was written May 19 I believe &
had the stamps in it. Thanks
very much for them. I have plenty
now to last me for a long time
so you needn't send any more.

Say I dont want you to
send me any money or Ida either
as I have plenty and will buy
you them articles if I get a
liberty to Coblenz or Neuwied.

It is sure warm here today.
