Wednesday May 22 '18.

Was on duty from 8:30 until 12:45
in the M.P. office. -- Got orders for
all the cadets to be ready to leave
for flying school. I got permission
along with fifteen other cadets
to go to Niort. The truck broke
down eight km. from town, and
we had to walk in, and it was
terribly hot with all the stuff
we had to cary. Had a fine time
with Charlie Grant salling
on some of his French friends.
Came home on the train as
we missed the truck. -- Went
on patrol with Frank Grady
from 9 unitl 10:30 P.M.

Thursday May 23, '18.

Had the day off. -- Shot a
qualifying score on the
