Saturday June 1st 1918.

The Boche have reached the
Marn, and are close to Chateau
Tierre. We had big rumors in
camp this morning about the
Allies capturing 200,000 Germans.
Too bad that it was not so. And
still no flying, too windy. I am
very anxious to start flying.

Sunday June 2 '18.

The Boche didn't get very
far today. I got called at general
inspection this morning. A
mechanic was struck by a
propeller and killed this
evening. It cut his head off.

Monday June 3rd '18.

Am feeling pretty low today.
