at drill Major Fitzgerald
talked to the same assembled
multitude as did our friend
Davidson on Tuesday.
Major Fitzgerald said that
he was not responsible
for the few unfortunate
words that were spoken to
us the other morning. He was
asked if it were true that we
were nieusances. He replied
that if it was absolutely not true,
that we wer needed, and
needed badly. That he was the
comanding officer, and that
all of us would get a square
deal. Major Davidson
came out and tried to
smooth over his speech,
