Both Squires and Hughes
were burried this afternoon.
I went, and we marched
about three and a half
miles to the grave yard.
It was schorching hot.
George Eveleth passed out
while we were standing
at salute while taps was
being sounded. — There
were nineteen machines
broken today. It seems
that someone has been
tampering with them, as
they have found some
wires filed and some bolts
out. — I was excused from
flying tonight. All of us
were that went to the funeral.
