We washed up, and then went
to the Casino de Paris, and
saw a good show, and
drank much champeigne,
and had a wonderful time.

Thursday July 18 ‘18.

Went to the Americam Express
Co. and went through my trunk
and got the clothes that I have
wanted ever since I left Paris.
On the way from the hotel to
the station I lost my pocket
book with a $20 U.S. bill
and 150 francs in it, besides
a copy of my commissiom and
a copy of my active orders,
travel orders to Issoudun,
and a bunch of clippings etc.
Some luck! Left Paris at
10 A.M. and arrived in Issoudun
