We had a great time at
Shanghai. It is a larger city
than Yokahoma and we saw
more. From were the boat lands
is a raod along side of the
Yangtse River call the Bund.
There is all monuments and
parks and on the other
side of this street is all large
buildings French English and
American banking houses
and different concerns.
The American people gave
use a dinner that night
we landed at the Oriental
Hotel. Every thing was run by
the VChinses but you would
have thought you were in a
large American hotel, it is
a bout nine storys high.
