Dear Lydia,

I am dropping you a
line to let you know I recieved
your to letters of August the 27th and
28th O.K. also recieved the Leslie weekly
and San Mateo News I am glad you
are writing and sending me the papers
often as I am glad to get the news
from up that way.

I am recieving the mail O.K.
now I have recieved all the mail
you and the folks have sent me
I will be glad when I get the
things Taid is sending me I will
not get them before Tuesday the
4th of Sept as the Post Office does
not opean on Sunday or Holidays.
