Just a line to let you
know I recieved your letter of
the 30th of August and just
recieved one from Davis I am
glad to hear from Davis he
tells me he is a regular mine
planter now I am going to
answer his letter in a few
minutes and tell him about the
country down here say Lydia
I am going to send you some
of the cotton stalks with the
cotton on them so as you can
see how it grows I think
