just a line to let you
know I have you letter of Sept [September] the
28th at hand and am answering
it also have answered Stan's
letter of the 29^th of Sept. [September].

Am glad to hear that you are
having the front rooms tinted.
I hope they will suit you and
the folks better when they are
tinted.

I am just as well satisfied that
I did not get transfered [transferred] to the
76^th Aero Squadron as would
a whole lot more like to see some
of the Eastern States while I have
the chance.
