Dear Lydia,
Just a line to let
you know I received your letters
of Nov - 13th and 14th and am going
to answer them at once to keep
up in writing to you.

That does not make any
difference about Clem being
in a Balloon Squadron he will
be sent here to Texas just the
same as they all come here to
get their clothing and Equipment
before they go anywhere else
you can tell Shortie and tell
Stan to tell Shortie that he is
in a good branch of the service
and tell him not to worry about
Clem.
