Sat
JUNE 1.
Rained all around some and a little here.
I fixed up screen doors in the forenoon
and in the afternoon I irrigated some
in the orchard and some on the hill.
Lew went to town in the forenoon
and in the afternoon done sundry
short jobs.

JUNE 2.
Pretty good today but rather cool on an average.
Mother and I went up to John Dragers
and had a very nice visit. I think that
their prospects for a good crop is very
flattering and I hope it will keep so
until after harvest. Lew and Meda
staid [stayed] at home like good children.
