JUNE 7.
Quite squally some of the time to day and rained just a little in the afternoon. Lew finished replanting and then mowed some north of the house and blocked out some artistic signs. I irrigated some on the windy place. Shall quit now for a spell but will have to finish the little piece that Lew broke the other day. I turned water into the lake tonight.

JUNE 8.
Sat
Very much a rainy day and got things nicely soaked. Finished irrigating the new breaking and shut that gate caught about 20 or 25 suckers this morning. I worked at some screens for the windows. Lew tinkered around this forenoon and in the afternoon went to town.
