A horrible day the wind commenced to howl bout 10 O clock and keeps it up yet and it has snowed up in the hills like it meant to all this afternoon but it has not snowed any here yet. Lew and I hauled manure this forenoon but this afternoon we didnt do anything scarcly [scarcely].

Tues Feb 11
Clear and pleasant but pretty sharp and the wind blew a little. We hauled manure this forenoon and this afternoon the boys loaded up a load of hay to take to Mr Wathan and when Lew got to the railroad crossing it turned over bottom up and Dave has gone tot [to?] help him load up again. I irrigated in the orchard to day got loaded and Lew went as far as Collins.
