Mon March 31 Quite cold and snowed all day slowly. I hovered near the stove. Lew cleaned oats some. Dave went to town for Mr Plummer. To day was the day set for the ditch meeting but I dont know how it went.

Tues Apr 1st Had a little snow on the ground this morning but it went off and was quite nice most of the day. Lew finished cleaning the seed oats. Dave helped him some. I done several little jobs filed the wood saw. Made a new hard wood brace for it finished cleaning up the orchard and cut up some of it into wood etc.
