Commonly known as the Sons of Liberty, Company G of the 34th Regiment, Mississippi Infantry (Confederate) was organized on March 17, 1862 in Tippah County, Mississippi under the command of Capt. John B. Huddleston and served in the Western Theater. It was later commanded by Capt. Thaddeus. S. Hubbard.
