Description

Company K of the 3rd Regiment, Maryland Cavalry was organized on January 9, 1864 in Baltimore, Maryland under the command of Capt. Henry R. Crosby and served in the Western Theater in the Middle Department, the Department of the Gulf, and the Department of Mississippi. It was later commanded by Capts. Adolph Berry (July 23, 1863-August 11, 1865) and Joseph F. Lewis (August 31, 1865-September 7, 1865). It was mustered out of service on September 7, 1865.
