Dear Sir

I beg leave to offer my services to your Excilency as Millitary instructor to some one of the Regiments now being formed for the stateservice of the statte. As to my competency I would refer you to Gen Ruben Davis, Col Wm,, F Dowd & Capt S. J. Gholson, Be pleased sir to let me hear from you at your earliest opportunity,
