I wrote you some days since relative to the appointment of register of Tishomingo Co that is to say one of the Board & would most respectfully call your attention to the same. As the matter is a matter of meat & bread with me. if you have the appointing I hope to be remembered if it goes to a committy please urge my Claim as one who has many Claims upon the Country as any one. Your attention to the matter will confur a favor on your obt servt.
