Description

In Russian: "Chukchi", which was derived from the Chukot word, "Chauchu". The Luoravetlan are in two distinct groups that are called: "Chauchu" (Rich in Reindeer), and "Anqallyt" (the Sea People).

The Luoravetlan peoples are indigenous to the Chukchi Peninsula in Siberia, as well as coastal areas and islands around the Chukchi Sea and Bering Sea.
