Minutes of last Meeting read & confirmed _
The chairman reported that since last meeting
a Ratepay's meeting had been held & that he
& Mr Leech with Mr DA Hall & RH Siviour had
been to town to represent the Town & Country
to wait on the Commissioner in order to obtain better
Railway facilities at the New Jetty & were favourably
received & the reply would be sent through the
member's of the District.
The commissioner stated that he would try &
get the Haulage on the Balast of the Barque
"Carmoney" reduced - but up to now no reply
had come to hand_
