Meeting of Council held Jany 19th 1900 Present Crs Dorward (chairman) Bruce, Dutton, Puckridge & OShanahan Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed Financial statements read by Chairman Balance Sheet & Auditors report read by the Chairman for the 1/2 year ending Dec 31st 1899 - Cr Dorward proposed Cr OShanahan seconded the adoption of Balance sheet & Auditors report as read - Carried - Correspondence H Brougham re his application for wire netting and asking Council to reconsider his application Cr OShanahan proposed Cr Puckridge seconded That Mr Brougham be advised to apply to have the lease detered to perpetual when he can apply again Carried EPG Oswald re Councils application for refund of the 10/10/- paid him for supervision of Poonindie Foot Bridge and stating he was willing to refund if the Council would guarantee him fair remuneration Cr Bruce proposed Cr Dutton seconded

That the resolution passed asking Mr Oswald to refund the 10/10/- paid him for supervision of Foot Bridge be rescinded - Carried Yaranyacka & Tumby Farmers association asking for well & Trough at Tumby Jetty Cr Dutton prop Cr Puckridge Seconded that request be complied with and that trough & bucket be supplied at well on Louth Bay Road - Tenders to be called for sinking well at Tumby to be in by Feby 3rd - Carried - EPG Oswald asking to have water hole put down on Main Road near 9th Mile Post on West Road Cr Puckridge prop Cr Bruce seconded That request be not complied with Carried EPG Oswald suggesting that the Main West Road should be open its full width where 3 chains wide Cr Dutton proposed Cr Puckridge Secd That owners be notified to remove the fences from off the road Carried AW Borthwick asking for repairs on Road between Pillarorta & Yalluna Cr OShanahan prop Cr Puckridge Secd That overseer inspect and if necessary call for tenders to be in Feb 3rd Carried
