Fruit Cake

1 1/2 cup brown sugar (or granulated)
1 cup molasses, 5 whole eggs
2 lbs raisens (whole) seeded
1 lb. currents. 1 lb blanch al-
monds (chopped) 1 lb citron
1 lb. figs. 3 tbps flour 1 cup
sweet milk, 2 teas
baking powder, 1 teas. cloves
1 teas. cinamon, 1 wine glass
brandy or whiskey.
Bake in two tins. Try with
a straw so if not sticks to
straw is done

Doughnuts -

Two eggs (beat) 1 cup sugar,
1/2 cup milk, flavor. Mix
this all well and put
enough flour in to stiffen
(add to the flour 1 teas. baking
powder.) Cut out and fry
in hot grease ([butter or]
lard) cut with small
tins and enough grease to
let them swim
