French Salad Dressing
In a small bowl put a
teas salt, half a spoon pepper
and 3 tables oil. Stir until
salt dissolves, then add
one tables vinegar. blend
together and pour over salad.
Waldorf Salad
Slice appels half pound
English walnuts cut celery
& onion- season. Add apples
last. Stir thoroughly with
the cream mayonnnaise
Heap on platter and cover
with mayonnaise
Corn Bread
1 1/2 pts cornmeal. 1 pt.
buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1/2 teas.
soda, 1 tables. melted lard
1 teas. salt. Bake in quick oven
