Wine Jelly
Soak one box Cox's gel.
atine in cold water for
half an hour. When
dissolved add one qt.
boiling water one pt.
pure sherry, juice of
one lemon, sweeten to
taste. Strain through
cloth and set in cold place.
Icing
Two cups gran. sugar
1/2 cup water. boil until
stiff as candy - pour
in whites of 4 eggs. beat
until cool.
