Mutton Sandwiches with peas

Butter slices of white bread, put
over one half then slices cold boiled
mutton. Mix together half pint
nicley cooked peas, that have been
seasoned with salt & pepper
a little butter & a teas. cappers
Put a layer over the mutton, then
cover with another slice of buttered
bread, cut in triangles and
serve on lettuce leaves

Chicen and Tongue Sandwiches
Chop cold boiled tongue and
chicken. Take equal quanties
and mix with each pint of
meat a quarter cup of melted
butter, the yolk of one egg beaten,
a little black pepper and a
teas. Worchestershire sauce.
Spread over bugttered bread and
trim crusts
