Indian Sandwiches made of toast
Remove the skin and bones from
two sardines; pound the meat to
a paste; add a teas. of anchovy paste,
a dash of salt & red pepper and
rub in the hard boiled yolks of
six eggs. Add two tables. olive oil
Butter the slices of bread and
toast quickly on one side, spread
the other with the mixture and
serve at once as they must be
eaten while the toast is hot.
(nice for late suppers)
