Brandy Sauce

One ounce water.
juice of two lemons.
3/4 lb. sugar.
1 spoon corn starch.
Can be brandied to taste

French Rolls.
3 pts. flour.
3 eggs - salt.
1/2 pt. lard
1 " yeast
1/2 " milk
1 scant cup sugar. Set
to rise in the morning
Knead about 1 o'clock
roll out at 5 o'clock.
bake at 6 o'clock for tea
