[Ellens] Salad 87
Dressing -
Take one cup vinegar
(white is best) set on
stove - let get scalding
hot but must not
boil when adding
four eggs well beaten
one teas. mustard
disolved in water
1 tables. corn starch in
water enough to disolve
1 teas. salt 1 teas. sugar
butter size of an egg.
Mix all well and
beating with egg beater
very briskly add to
hot vinegar and stir
for 5 min. Cool & use for
any salad. Cream one cup
