Plum Pudding Sauce
One smal cup of sugar
one egg
a piece of butter size of a walnut
one table-spoon ful of flour
two tablespoon ful of cold water.
Beat up all together,
and pour into half pint
of boiling milk or water
Flavor with wine or brandy.

Layer cake
1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk 2 eggs 1 3/4 cup flour
1 large tea spoon Baking Powder.
