a half pint sweet cream
whipped to a stiff froth,
sweeten and flavor to
taste, spread over cake
and serve while fresh.
The cream will froth easier
to be made cold be setting
on ice before whipping.
One cup sugar, two eggs, one
half cup sweet milk, three
tablespoons melted butter
one and one half cups flour,
one teaspoon soda, two teaspoons
cream tartar; bake in layers
