Lemon Ice

3 cups of fruit juice, add
syrup made of 1 pt. each
of water & sugar, boiled 10
minutes, skimed and
cooled. Juice of lemon
Freeze

Prune Whip

Whites of 5 eggs.
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 lb prunes. Stew until
soft, rub through sieve
chop meats of prunes, mix
to-gether and beat well.
Bake 15 minutes or steam
an hour.
Served with whipped cream
