Mrs Lewis Plum pudding

1 pint seeded raisins
1/2 pint currants
1/4 pint citron cut small
1 pint chopped apples
1 pint of flour sifted
1/2 nutmeg grated or 1 teaspoon ful.
1 teaspoon of ginger if you like
1 big teaspoon cinnamon 1 of cloves
4 eggs whiped
half 1/2 pint of sugar
1 pint chopped suet
not quite 1 inch from top of can
1 pint sweet milk
1 and 1/4 pint bread crumbs
1 teaspoon ful of salt
Boil 4 hours or more
