Almond cake
Whites of 4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk sweet
2 cups flour sifted 3 times with pinch salt
1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring
Filling
Yolks of 4 eggs
1 1/2 cup of milk
1 to 2 teaspoons cornstarch
sugar to taste about 3 tablespoons
Blanch and chop a cup
of almonds put in filling
put a few drops almond flavoring
in filling if you like.
put powdered sugar frosting on top
