Strawberry Jam Gems
(Radio Kitchen Recipe 7/10/34

Sieve together
2 c bread flour
1/2 T salt
2 tsp bak. powder

Cut in about 1/4 c. shortening
Add 3/4 c. milk - may be more or less

Knead very lightly

Form biscuits, make dent in
top, put in tbsp. straw-
berry jam, and pull
dough together entirely over the
jam, so that is entirely
encases the jam.

Bake 15 min. in hot oven.
