Sandwich Loaf

Mary Ellis Ames Radio Recipe 8/23/'35

3 different fillings
2 loaves bread }1 white
}1 whole wheat

Trim crusts from day old bread.
Slice lengthwise
Butter each side of the whole wheat
and only one side of the white.

Fillings:
1. 1/2 C. shredded shrimp
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 " salt
1/8 " pepper
Few grains ground cloves
Small cucumber - peeled and
sliced very thin.

2. 2 hard cooked eggs - chopped
1/2 c diced celery
1/4 tsp. salt
1 T mayonnaise
2 T sweet pickle relish
2 pimentoes cut in strips
