At the interview I had with Aus-
tin, at Louisville, we spoke of the
payment of our debts, and your we-
lfare in general, he claiming tha-
t we should help Henry along as
best we could, and alledging tha-
t he intended to send money
home as soon as paid; but, I see
he has not lived up to his intention,
from what cause I know not. He
surely received pay since we met
