Fine & warm the News Came that peace was
proclamed at ¼ past 2 p.m. the Batterys at Kamisch
open fire & on the slope of the Sarda Camp
which our Artillery replied from all Quarters
Half Holliday & went to our Theatre in the
Eaving & Heard a lecture by Mr Hood
Paymaster of the Austrailen Gold fields the
life in the Bush from his own Exprinces
after which was a Concert &c

Thursday 3rd
Snow Storm with a Hurrican all day
& Very Heavey with Snow after Sun set

Friday 4th
Very Cold with Snow & our artilley
Moveing the Guns Shells & Shot from the
Triangle to Balaklava for Shipment Home

Saturday 5th
Fine & warm all day & went to the Oven[s]
& went all through them & a Russian General &
Officer was on a Visit to Gen~l Codrinton Went to
the Theatre in the [ ]
