health is slowly improving
Gen Getty is in command of
the 2d Div 6th Corps, Gen. A.P. Howe
is Supt Gen at Washington of [?].
Col Stone is commanding his
regiment Capt JB [?]
is with his regiment and [?]
to [?] Major. Dr. Allen remains
[?] Austin is appointed A.J.M.
of the NE Brigade Col Grant
expects the "Star" any day
McEnter is A.J.M. and is with
Gen Hancock. I am well
and anxiously looking to be [?]
my respect to you and all my
acquaintances If you see Capt Whelan
