northward attended with sharp Lightening steered

Middle & Latter Hours the wind veered round to
SW. and pleasant.

Hands employed in knotting yarns, &. &.

Sunday April 7th, 1839.

Commences with pleasant breezes from the SW Steering
E. S. E. at 8 P. M. the wind hauled to the Southward
took in the Steering Sails

Middle & Latter Hours light winds and variable.

So ends.

Commences with light airs from the SW Steering SE
