with the exception of the mizen Top gallant mast & yard

Hands employed in getting on board the remainder
of the Spars.

Sunday June 23dth, 1839.

Throught these 24 Hours light airs and Calm.

Hands ashore on liberty.

Monday June 24th 1839

All of these 24 Hours strong gales from the SSW and
smoaky weather.

Carpenters employed in making a mizen Top
Sail yard.

So ends.

Tuesday June 25th, 1839.

Commences with fresh gales from the SSW

middle & Latter Hours more moderate

Hands employed in wooding & watering

So ends

Wednesday June 26th, 1839.

Throught moderate breezes from the NW and cloudy
the Ship China and Barque Favorite went to Sea

hired a French Blacksmith to do some work to our mizen Top Sail yard

So ends.

Thursday June 27th, 1839.

Commences with moderate breezes from the NW. and
cloudy.

Middle & Latter Hours heavy Squalls from off the Land

Hands employed in cutting Iron Poles.

So ends.
