and clear lying too Heading to the Southward
untill meridian wore Ship to the North ship
Panama in company. Saw many Fowls & Birds water
green. So ends.

Latitude Obs. 32" 26 South. Longitude per watch 174" 50. wes

Wednesday, Sept. 11th, 1839.

First part fresh gales from the Eastward and
Cloudy Heading to the Northward untill 10 A. M.
tacked Ship to the Southward.

Middle Hours strong gales the wind veering to the
North with Rain Panama in Sight.

Latter Hours more moderate and cloudy heading to
the west. So ends.

Sun Obscure. Latitude by acc. 32" 31 South. Longitude per watch 176" 39. west.

Thursday, Sept. 12th, 1839.

First part fresh gales from the North and Cloudy
made Sail Steering to the west middle & Latter Hours
more moderate the wind veering to the west steered
to the North. at Sun Set shortened Sail.

Saw Some Fowls no Birds.

Friday, Sept. 13th, 1839.

All of these 24 Hours light airs from the west
and Calm Steering to the N. & E.

So ends. Fowls no Birds water green.

Saturday, Sept. 14th, 1839.

First part light airs from the west Steering by the
wind to the North untill 2 P. M. Steered off SE by S.
Spoke Ship [Faune?] of Haven 7 whales.

Middle & Latter Hours the wind hauled to the Eastward

So ends.
