Saturday June 20th, 1840.

All of these 24 Hours pleasant breezes from the South
and fair weather took on board 130 blls Casks 10 blls
of Beef 1200 weight of Bread and are now ready
for Sea with the exception of men.

Sunday, June 21th, 1840.

All of these 24 Hours pleasant weather shipped 7 men
to Sail on monday

So ends.

Monday June 22th, 1840.

First part light airs from the South and pleasant
at 10 A. M. got under weigh and west to Sea
at 1 P. M. passed the Nine Pin Rock at 2 stowed the
anchors unbent Cables and put them below Deck
and Steered N. N. W. at Sunset the South Head or
Cape Bren bore S. by E. 30 miles Dist.

Middle & Latter Hours fresh breezes and pleasant.

So ends.

Tuesday, June 23th, 1840.

All of these 24 Hours Strong breezes from the South
and fair weather Steering N. N. W. untill 4 A. M. Steered
by the wind to the west at 4 P. M. Steered off NE

So ends.
