Rt. Rev. & Dear Sir:
Some days ago,
I received your kind
invitation to be present
at the laying of the
Corner Stone of your
first University Building,
for which I thank you.
I rejoice to hear
of the {illegible} of that en-
terprize, but regret that
the state of my wife's health,
and parochial engage-
ments will prevent me
from being present on this
interesting occasion.
I am, Rt. Rev. & Dear Sir,
Very truly Yours &c,
Ed. F. Berkley
Rt. Rev.
